Fiona Tan

Fiona is a registered psychologist, an approved Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Register of Psychologists and a member of the Singapore Psychological Society.

Fiona previously served as a Senior Clinical Psychologist with the child forensic team at the Child Guidance Clinic (CGC), Institute of Mental Health (IMH). She provided forensic assessments for youths who were involved with the law as well as individual and group interventions for children and adolescents who had experienced trauma, engaged in offending behaviors or who were struggling with mood and anxiety related conditions. She is especially interested in working with survivors of traumatic events.

Fiona also regularly provided mental health and trauma related training to professionals as well as engaged in clinical supervision to psychology students from the National University of Singapore. She is proficient in conducting a variety of individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Child Centered Play Therapy as well as creative and expressive therapies.
