Concurrent Degree Programme – Clinical Psychology

Overview

The Concurrent Degree Programme – Clinical Psychology (CDP-CP) offers an accelerated pathway to complete both the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) and the Master of Psychology (Clinical) in five years, instead of the usual seven. The curriculum integrates the full requirements of both programmes.

Students who register their interest will be pre-allocated compulsory Psychology courses and must meet grade requirements each semester to progress and receive pre-allocation of higher-level courses. Students who meet the grade requirements and succeed in the Clinical Internship selection interview will undertake the internship. Following the successful completion of the Clinical Internship, eligible students may apply for the CDP-CP and will then be evaluated for their suitability for Clinical Psychology training through a clinical interview and role-play.
