Donald Yeo

Donald is a qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist with a special interest in cognitive aging and dementia assessment, with more than 25 years of professional practice, advanced training, clinical research and academic teaching. He has previously worked in hospitals, private practice, community settings, as well as supporting hospital psychology teams in their case reviews as a visiting consultant supervisor. In his clinical practice, Donald has established deep expertise in the cognitive evaluation of patients with brain disorders and providing psychological support to family caregivers. He has assisted the courts as an independent expert witness in medicolegal cases involving personal injury compensation, mental capacity assessments in deputyship, Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney. As a pioneer member of the Person-Centred Dementia Care Steering Committee, he is an active advocate for improving the quality of dementia care in Singapore and co-creates innovative Arts and Health community programs to benefit elderly persons with early cognitive decline. A lifelong learner, clinical educator and learning enabler, Donald facilitates educational workshops globally in Brain Science and Mental Health Conversation Skills Practice.
