Ismaharif Ismail
Research Associate
M.Soc.Sci. (NUS), B.Soc.Sci. (Hons.) (NUS)
My research focuses on the psychological study of social issues through the lens of self-regulation and goal pursuit, with recent works examining intergroup relations, national identification, social mobility, and crisis perception. These are achieved using research methods such as lab experiments, panel surveys, field interventions, psychometric scale development and latent variable modeling of public datasets. At heart, my research strives to contribute to understanding as well as addressing important social issues in Singapore.
