Dr. Liu is a Research Fellow at the Research Division, Institute of Mental health, Singapore. He leads a nationally competitive program of research that utilises novel clinical and statistical methodologies to address pertinent clinical and epidemiological questions surrounding the relationship between traumatic stress and health. He is passionate about conducting innovative research to inform trauma theory and research, translating his work into policy and practice, and contributing to education on mental health and research methodology. Dr. Liu is an American Psychological Association (APA) Editorial Fellow with two leading APA journals - Psychological Bulletin and Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy. He is also the Consulting Editor for Journal of Traumatic Stress.
