H3 Programmes

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers the Higher 3 (H3) programmes to local schools offering the Singapore- Cambridge GCE 'A' Level in Singapore. H3 programmes are meant to allow exceptional students to pursue a subject or area in which they have the interest and aptitude. In order to access H3 subject, students must have read the subject at H2 level. H3 programmes may also take on different modes such as

1) a university-taught course. Schools will be informed of the modules on offer during April .

2) an extended research essay. The Faculty together with the Gifted Education Branch, Ministry Of Education offers the H3 HSSRP. For more information, please visit this webpage.

Students are only allowed to do a maximum of two H3 programmes. Interested students should approach their JC for more information of the H3 programmes.

Students who meet the minimum grade requirements will be granted advanced placement credits:
