About the Speakers
Dr Vani Swarupa Murali(opens in new tab) is an instructor with the South Asian Studies Programme(opens in new tab) at the National University of Singapore’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in South Asian Studies from NUS, and her research focuses on agricultural policy and governance. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Public Policy, Channel NewsAsia and The Interpreter.
Mr Malminderjit Singh is Founder and Managing Director of Terra Corporate Affairs. He is also an adviser to various international public affairs firms and a Senior Consultant to the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. Active in public service, he serves as Chairman of the Sikh Advisory Board, a Justice of the Peace, a member of the Founders’ Memorial Committee and a Board Member of the Indian Heritage Centre.
