The Hunting Ground (2015) | Film Screening + Discussion

Dear NUS Staff/Students,

You are invited to a film screening + discussion of The Hunting Ground (2015) (M18 contains references to sexual violence).

It will be held on Monday, 19 April 2021 from 2pm – 4.30pm (Singapore Standard Time).

Film Synopsis
From the filmmakers of The Invisible War (2012) comes a startling expose of rape crimes on U.S. campuses, their institutional cover-ups, and the tragic social consequences. Weaving together vérité footage and first-person testimonials, the film follows survivors as they pursue their education and legal justice, despite harsh retaliation, harassment, and pushback.
(Duration of film: 1h 43mins)

Discussion (optional)
Following the film screening, we will automatically assign attendees into different breakout rooms for discussion (30mins), before gathering back into the main room.
