FASS Internship Programme

ACADEMIC ADVISORS

In order for students to benefit most from a structured internship with the FASS Internship Programme, advice and guidance from an academic advisor are important. Specific responsibilities of the AA include:

  • Evaluate student's performance with Work Plan, Journals, and Final Internship Report on Canvas.
  • Advice and guide the student on the programme procedures, if needed.
  • Establish contact with the student's Workplace Supervisor, if needed.
  • Help troubleshoot problems that crop up between the student and his/her employer, should the need arise.

By default, an AA from the FASS Dean's Office will be assigned to student. However, student may nominate a faculty member as AA. Students are advised to seek agreement from faculty member first before nominating.
