Congratulations to Dr Shaun Teo for being awarded Faculty Teaching Excellence Award AY2023-24, and Drs. Muhammad Nawaz and Carl Grundy-Warr for Faculty Innovation Teaching Award AY2023-24.
Mr Angshuman Choudhury (Joint NUS-KCL PhD Year 1 student) won the top prize for designing a NUS Sustainability Week banner. The competition was organised by the NUS University Campus Infrastructure during the sustainability week.
Dr. Nawaz's insights on "Sinkholes in Singapore: Can We Really Avoid Them?" were featured on Channel News Asia's Talking Point on September 23, 2024. His contribution sheds light on the potential for sinkhole occurrences in Singapore.
