NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Faculty Advisory Board Re-appointed Till 2022

The NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is pleased to re-appoint our Faculty Advisory Board (FAB) members for another term till September 2022.
Dr Leslie Teo, Managing Director, Data & Strategic Transformation with Great Eastern Life, and NUS FASS Faculty Advisory Board co-chairperson said, “It is an honour to continue serving the Faculty on its Advisory Board and provide insights on its strategic planning.”
“In our years of partnership, we have worked together on many fulfilling and meaningful initiatives. I am certain the Board will continue to advise the FASS Deanery on curriculum and research as well as, remaining relevant in our evolving society,” he said.
Co-Chair Dr Noeleen Heyzer, the first woman to serve as the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) added, “I am esteemed to extend my term as co-chair of the Board and continue advising on the Faculty’s plans. As an alumna, I have witnessed the evolution of the Faculty and am proud of its numerous achievements over the years. It is with confidence that we continue to be a distinguished centre of research and learning, and play a part in our service to the community.”
Professor Lionel Wee, Dean of the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and Co-Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) said, “The Board’s strong leadership and support have inspired us to implement new industry-relevant initiatives. As honorary ambassadors and prominent leaders from various industries, the Board has fostered connections and networks that are key in establishing our internships, mentorships, funding, and other strategic efforts.”
