Welcome to PitStop@FASS!
PitStop@FASS is a new wellness space open to all FASS undergraduate and graduate students -- including students’ caregivers -- for relaxation and recharge. Beyond being a space for rest, PitStop@FASS was designed to incorporate other ways of promoting wellbeing, including day-to-day relaxing and social activities, as well as organised wellness events.

Ground Rules of PitStop@FASS:
- No food and drinks (plain water is acceptable)
- No studying
Facilities at PitStop@FASS:
- 2 Television areas – 1 with Nintendo Switch & 1 with Internet TV
- 2 Massage chairs
- Quiet zone with armchairs & sofa
- Notes wall for encouragement
- General activity area with portable tables and chairs for craft activities, wellness events, board and card games, movie screenings, etc.
- Whiteboard wall for educational content & interactive activities

General guidelines for TV reservation:
- Reserve only 1 slot (1 hour) per group per day. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful reservation.
- Greyed out/ missing slots indicate that they have been reserved.
- Be on time for your reserved slot. It will only be held for the first 15 minutes into the hour, following which other students at PitStop@FASS can take over your booking.
- Please be considerate of others - cancel your reservation if you’re unable to make it.
- Kindly be conscious of your noise level and do not adjust the volume above 20.
Operating Hours:
1-5pm, Monday to Friday
(closed on weekends, NUS holidays, Public Holidays, and Vacation Period)
Enter by tapping your student matric card on the card reader. If you encounter issues with access during operating hours, please approach the SSM on duty or write in to fassupport@nus.edu.sg.
How To Get There:
PitStop@FASS is located at Level 1 of Block AS8, beside The Coffee Roaster café.
Accessible Routes:
- From CLB bus stop – come up to Level 1 from the ramp at the bus stop
- From other blocks – navigate to AS1 Level 3 or AS6 Level 2, proceed to AS8 Level 4 via connecting ramp. Take the lift down to level 1.

Event Booking Procedures:
- Student representative or Staff Advisor to download and complete the booking form HERE
- Email completed booking form to fassupport@nus.edu.sg for review by SSM team with Staff Advisor in the cc.
- Approval can be provided within 5 working days, with priority given to events related to wellness/wellbeing.
- The use of PitStop@FASS is subject to availability; sending in a booking request DOES NOT guarantee approval. Please submit your booking request early, and have a contingency plan.
Contact Us/ Report an Issue/ Lost & Found:
Should you encounter any issues with any equipment or the space in general, you may approach the SSM on duty first. Otherwise, for non-emergency cases, we are contactable via email at fassupport@nus.edu.sg.
For emergencies, please call Campus Emergency and Security (CES) at 6874 1616 or approach the security office next to PitStop@FASS.
For lost items:
- Valuables such as wallets, electronic items, matric cards, keys, etc. will be handed over to the security post next to PitStop@FASS. Students can search for their lost items on the RepoApp and claim their items at the same security post.
- Miscellaneous items such as water bottles, stationery, clothes, etc. will be placed at the Lost and Found corner at reception and will be disposed of by the end of the week if unclaimed.
