Why on earth would anyone write yet another book regarding the Second World War British failure to defend Malaya and Singapore? Come and listen and I will tell you.
Brian P. Farrell is Professor in the Department of History, where he has been teaching since 1993. His main field of interest and research is military history, particularly the British Empire in Asia. The forthcoming book about which he will talk is his tenth.
