FASS-CDE Research Networking Workshop: Urban Livability and Sustainability

The College of Design and Engineering and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences jointly invite faculty members who are interested in developing interdisciplinary research collaborations in the field of urban livability and sustainability to learn about one another’s interests and expertise, especially grant-based research projects.

This event will be held on Wed, 23 August 2023, @2.00pm-5.30pm at AS7-06-42, FASS RD Seminar Room (The Shaw Foundation Building).

The workshop will consist of two parts: individual short presentations and breakout group discussions. Potential topics to be discussed may include but are not limited to: Urban Environment and Space, Urban Infrastructure (e.g. Housing and Transportation), and Urban Life and Culture.

Tentative programme schedule will be as below:

2.00 – 2.10 pm Introduction by Chairs from CDE and FASS
2.10 – 3.10 pm 1st Half of Individual Presentations
3.10 – 3.40 pm Short Break with Refreshments
3.40 – 4.40 pm 2nd Half of Individual Presentations
4.40 – 5.10 pm Breakout Session
5.10 – 5.30 pm Mingling Session and Photo Taking
