PUBLIC LECTURE | Sikh Values & Ethics: Their Relevance Today

This lecture explores the enduring relevance of Sikh values and ethics in the modern world. Sikhi, rooted in compassion, equality, and selfless service, has been an influential force in shaping the lives of its followers and promoting social harmony. In today's globalised society, the teachings of the Sikh Gurus offer valuable insights on how to navigate the challenges of diversity, technology, and ethical dilemmas. This lecture delves into the core principles of Sikhi, including "Sewa" (selfless service), "Ik Onkar" (the oneness of creation), and "Sarbat da Bhala" (positive welfare of all), and examines how they can guide individuals and communities in making ethical decisions and contributing positively to the world.

By considering the intersection of Sikh values and contemporary issues, we aim to gain a deeper understanding of how these principles can continue to inspire and guide us in the 21st century.
