FACULTY TEACHING EXCELLENCE AWARD 2018
Faculty Teaching Excellence Award
The Faculty Teaching Excellence Award is awarded to faculty members who have displayed a high level of commitment to their teaching. Each year, a select few colleagues are recognised for their teaching based on peer reviews, student feedback and exposition of their teaching philosophy.
Special Teaching Award
The Special Teaching Award recognises colleagues with special capabilities in the following categories:
- Students’ Choice: Most outstanding student feedback received based on excellent teaching, approachability and helpfulness
- Community Leadership: Positive impact through teaching, outreach, and community engagement
- Mentorship: Strong commitment towards fostering a teaching excellence culture through teacher mentorship
- Versatility: Exemplary performance across an impressive range of teaching levels and contexts
- Innovation: Most innovative use of technology in and out of the classroom
