The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Outreach and Engagement Award programme acknowledges the service efforts and contributions of faculty members who have been instrumental in promoting the visibility and presence of FASS Departments and Programmes among prospective students, parents, schools, alumni and the broader public.

Both internal and external outreach efforts – through personal networking, delivering talks at pre-university schools, hosting academic and curricula consulting tea sessions, playing leading roles in the organisation of camps for prospective students, managing professional development seminars for school teachers, producing and publishing thought leadership content and insightful research across mass and social media – are important for showcasing FASS’ diverse intellectual leadership and talents to prospective students and other stakeholders.

The Outreach and Engagement awards is the Faculty's formal acknowledgement of our colleagues' endeavours in these areas.
